I have been with ING Bank since 2010, working in the field of Information Risk Management with bank-wide scope, including information risk, data management, operational resilience, information privacy, information security, cybercrime resilience, etc. Before joining ING Bank, I worked at one of the Big Four in IT audit. I hold a PhD in Computer Science, the CISSP and CISA certifications, and Dutch Executive Master’s in IT audit. I worked for many years as researcher and associate professor at the Computer Science Faculty at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and for more than ten years as a lecturer at the IT-audit post-graduate education at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
